Microengineering, sport and web development. Three fields, one way of moving forward: with rigor and curiosity.

ABOUT
My name is Ralph Honhon, I was born in 2005 and I come from Geneva. A passionate athlete, I spent many years playing on the Swiss national field hockey team, while also skiing down alpine slopes. Staying inactive has simply never been an option for me. I've channeled that same energy into my studies: I completed my schooling at Collège Calvin, where I earned a maturity in physics and applications of mathematics, graduating with the top grade in that track. This path led me into the world of tech, software engineering, and web development, where I discover new challenges every day.
After graduating, I spent a gap year traveling, improving my English, and getting a better understanding of the world around me. I also completed my Swiss military service, a formative experience on a human level. Today, I'm pursuing a bachelor's degree in microengineering, where I intend to deepen my technical skills and explore fields that challenge me intellectually. Curious and driven, I'm not afraid to step outside my comfort zone, whether on the slopes, in a lab, or at my desk.

Since earning my Swiss maturity, my goals have taken on a new dimension. Once I complete my bachelor's in microengineering at EPFL, I want to pursue a master's degree at MIT. To help fund these studies, rather than simply looking for scholarships, I'm co-founding a web and app development company with a friend.
